Setting a new typology for a presidential library with over 70,000 square feet of a sustainable design; the center must serve its community members and global visitors. The center is suspended over the road in order to preserve public parkland. Allowing activities in the park to serve it’s community while bringing native plants to help the local ecology. There is exhibition space for the Obama’s archive and the Obama Foundation has space for free education programs
through the on-site library and digital platform. Exploring how architecture will have to adapt to future technology, holograms are apart of the center for interactions during in exhibitions or lectures. Holograms present an opportunity for people to be able to engage with their idols.
