Using kin as a design methodology to build multi-species relationships within architecture; the public pool becomes a place to build relationships between humans and critters. Using oysters, fungi and plants to filter the water, we can appreciate nature for its natural capabilities. The site is surrounded by Lake Michigan and the Chicago River. The architecture is adaptable for the future effects of climate change.
