Over 140,000 square feet, Flourishing Into the Sky negotiates public and private space through a family orientated design. The green space starts adjacent to the East River serving as a public park. The green spaces grow towards the sky in accordance to the programming. Large green roofs serve the child care center and wellness center, while the apartments have community balconies on each floor. These green spaces create safe environments for young families.
