These sculptures were created in 2020 when Covid hit the world, and when most people lives changed in a drastic way. These sculptures were the catalyst to what became, Indiscernible elements: Calcium. While these were not used in the book, they helped Korynn create and visualize the world of her book that she was creating. She was able to grow Calcium through gypsum and concrete in their natural elements of the forest. These still stand today, ever changing through the seasons and becoming home for organisms. The photos were taken with Ilford 400 and to depict moments of nature and Calcium interweaving. The process of these photos resulted in x-ray like fragments, showing Calcium how humans are most use to seeing it.
